Do I have to replace the indoor coil and furnace too?
The outdoor unit and indoor coil have to be a matched, compatible pair, so the coil usually gets replaced. The furnace or air handler can often stay if its blower suits the new system and it has life left.
Can I replace my AC with a heat pump?
Often yes, and many homeowners in Oregon and Washington do. A heat pump cools like an air conditioner and heats in shoulder season. We check your electrical capacity, ductwork and backup heat before recommending it.
How long does a replacement take?
